Examination and Progress Reports
There will be two semesters, two pre-summative and unit tests. After each examination, parents are requested to collect the report card on open days and to examine carefully and to see that special efforts are taken so that the students will improve.
Pupils who have not paid the fees will not be allowed to take examination. Students indulging in copying or in any other malpractices will be severely punished.
Rules for Promotion.
Promotion will be decided on the whole year’s performance based on the examinations. Regularity in attending classes, doing the assignments, are all deciding factors in promotions.
To be eligible for promotion, a student must secure minimum 45% marks in English and 40% in all other subjects. Every pupil is required to be present for 85% of the school working days as a pre-requisite for their promotion.
Pupils absent from examinations will be considered as failed unless it is established their absence due to illness after producing a medical certificate.
The results declared at the end of the year are final and cannot be altered or reconsidered.
